DR. HAFNER

David H. Hafner, MD, FACS is a partner at Vascular Surgical Associates, PC in Marietta, Georgia.  Dr. Hafner received his undergraduate degree in Biology at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA., graduating in 1976, Summa Cum Laude and received his Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia in 1980. He then went to Emory and finished his internship, residency, and vascular fellowship at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in 1986. He is Board Certified in Surgery with the added Board Certification qualification in Vascular Surgery, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Hafner's hospital appointments include Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and Wellstar Cobb Hospital. Dr. Hafner's interests include endovascular surgery, open endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms, and carotid artery surgery. In addition he is the medical director of our State of the Art Accredited Vascular Lab.
